nUML 0.4 liberada

Hello Rodolfo,
are you still working on nUML? If yes, why not post occasional updates on your blog?
What about posting in English? That would greatly increase you readership.
Good luck,
Andreas
Hello Andreas,
Yes, I'm still working on nUML; in fact, there are some huge improvements related to profiles and stereotypes, which will be part of version 0.5.
I'll try to post more frequently. Regarding English, I think it won't be too bad if I write in English about technical matters... I'll keep Spanish for personal stuff.
Thanks for your comments and best regards,
Rodolfo
Rodolfo, I sort of like the Spanish. As near as I can tell, Mono was born Hispano. Que viva!
Tell you what -- if you keep posting technical stuff in Spanish, I'll post an English translation in the comments. Then those guys from Germany (just a guess) will have an easier time.
I'll go back now and find a recent post to show a sample translation.
[A rough translation of Rodolfo's post]
Since it's been more than eight months without a release of nUML, and considering that it's advanced enough in various areas -- above all with respect to profile configuration and stereotypes -- I decided today to release version 0.4 from the library.
In this release the API broke in the XMI module (all the overloads of AddDomain), and the namespace root is now NUml (it had been NUML).
Apart from this, there didn't seem to be many problems at the time of upgrade -- for example MonoUML still compiles against this version (I'm referring to the code in SVN).
When time allows, I'll publish a few articles about the benefits of this release, either here or in the wiki.
P.S.: A simple way to support the project would be to target it with links. I'd like to improve its page rank in searches like UML library C# .NET. I would therefore be very grateful to those who could help by creating links along those lines in their site or blog.
Hello Mexilus,
Regarding languages, I don't know for sure what's best. On the one hand, most folks understand English, and it has become a sort of Esperanto for the IT business. On the other hand, we are in constant need of more technical material written in Spanish, and it turns out Spanish is my first language.
For the time being, and considering I don't write so frequently, we can try your approach, and see if that works. Whenever I have enough time, I'll post in both languages, otherwise I'll post in Spanish and wait for your translation.
Thank you very much for your comments and for your proposal.
Muy bien. I've created a new blog for English translations of the news from Planet Mono Hispano. See Tiempos del Mono.
I'll monitor your site for new items in Spanish. Are there any other URLs you would suggest, besides those you've already linked in your blog layout?

Muchas gracias.
